It’s important these connections be loving, healthy, and fulfilling.
At the broadest level, it is crucial to understand relationship patterns.
Many who struggle in their relationships did not have the best relationship role models growing up. Or maybe they had a significant relationship with unhealthy dynamics that set the tone for relationships to come.
It is common for people to repeat what is familiar regardless of whether it is healthy or what they want.
But familiar isn’t always the best.
Relationships are complex.
Each individual brings different experience, values, capabilities, and communication styles to the relationship. Because of this, there are bound to be bumps in the road.
